Welding Machines & Equipment — Complete Product Range

Our Products

Choosing welding equipment starts with the process. MIG (MAG) welding feeds a continuous wire under shielding gas and is the fast, general-purpose choice for steel fabrication. TIG gives the finest control on thin stainless steel and non-ferrous metals. MMA (stick) welding is simple and portable, suited to site and repair work. Submerged arc welding handles long seams on thick plate, and fibre laser welding joins thin to medium sections at high speed with little distortion.

The Paragweld range covers each of these. It includes ARC welders from the ARC 200 (20 to 200 A) to the ARC 1000 (60 to 1000 A), MIG machines up to the 500 A MIG 500 Pro, TIG and pulse TIG AC/DC machines, submerged arc welders up to 1250 A, and fibre laser welding machines that weld mild steel up to 12 mm. Alongside these are air plasma cutters, CNC cutting systems, electrodes, welding wire, torches, water cooling units and special purpose machinery.

frequently asked questions (FAQ)

It depends on the material, its thickness and where you weld. MIG suits fast, general fabrication of steel. TIG gives the most control on thin stainless steel, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals, but it is slower. ARC (stick) welding is simple and portable, which makes it useful for site and repair work. Submerged arc welding is best for long seams on thick plate in the flat position.
The PW1500 and PW2000 fibre laser welders, the TIG 200P and TIG 200P AC/DC pulse TIG machines, the Cut 40 plasma cutter and the PW 10 and PW 20 water cooling units run on single-phase 220 V. Most other machines in the range, including the ARC, MIG and TIG series and the submerged arc welders, need a three-phase 415 V supply. Check the product page for each model.
Fibre laser welding suits thin to medium sections where speed and low distortion matter, such as sheet metal fabrication and automotive work. Paragweld's PW series welds at up to 120 mm/s and reduces post-weld finishing. Mild steel capacity is 6 mm on the PW1500, 8 mm on the PW2000 and 12 mm on the PW3000. For heavy plate and thick multi-pass joints, MIG or submerged arc welding is usually more practical.
Yes. The range includes welding electrodes in 2.50 to 5.00 mm sizes, packed in 20 kg boxes, PW MAG-1 (AWS ER70S-6) MIG wire and PW FC 71T-1 (AWS E71T-1) flux-cored wire. There are also MIG torches from the 24 KD to the 500 A, TIG torches such as the WP 18, WP 26, WCD 400 and WCD 600, plasma torches including the P 80 and BW 125, and PW 10 and PW 20 water cooling units.
