Auto Component Manufacturing
Auto component units produce brackets, mounts, silencers, seat frames and chassis sub-assemblies in large batches. The steel is mostly thin to medium mild steel, and the priorities are speed, repeatability and low rework, because parts go straight to vehicle makers' assembly lines.
Recommended process: MIG/MAG
MIG welding with solid wire under CO2 or an argon-CO2 mix gives the fast, continuous output these lines need. For fixture-based production, the MIG 400 Pro offers stable arc control on sheet and light sections, while the MIG 500 Pro gives more headroom for thicker brackets and longer runs. Where stainless trims or visible joints are involved, keep a TIG machine for those specific welds.
Tractors and Agricultural Equipment
Tractor makers and their vendors weld frames, hitches, linkages, hydraulic mounts and implement parts. The sections are thicker and the joints have to survive years of vibration and shock loading in the field.
Recommended process: MIG for production, ARC for heavy joints
High-current MIG handles production welding of frames and brackets efficiently. For thick joints, fit-up repairs and awkward positions a MIG gun cannot reach easily, an industrial ARC inverter with low-hydrogen electrodes is still the practical choice. Paragweld's ARC welder series runs from portable units to the heavy-duty ARC 630I.
Earth-Moving and Construction Equipment
Buckets, booms, arms and undercarriage parts for earth-moving machines are made from thick, wear-resistant plate. These welds need multiple passes, high heat input and long hours at the arc.
Recommended process: Submerged arc and heavy-duty MIG
For long, straight seams on thick plate, a submerged arc welding machine mounted on a column and boom or carriage deposits metal quickly with deep penetration and almost no spatter. A welding rotator makes it practical to weld cylindrical parts such as hydraulic cylinder barrels. For shorter seams and fillet welds, heavy-duty MIG keeps productivity high.
Heavy Engineering and Structural Fabrication
Heavy engineering shops in Faridabad build industrial frames, gantries, tanks, machine bases and plant structures. Plate thickness varies from job to job, and much of the preparation time goes into cutting and bevelling.
Recommended process: ARC, SAW and plasma cutting
ARC welding with good electrodes remains the most flexible process for varied structural work, with submerged arc taking over on heavy repeated seams. For cutting, an air plasma cutter from the LGK / CUT series handles day-to-day plate and profile work, while a CNC plasma cutting machine suits shops that cut the same profiles repeatedly and want accurate parts ready for fit-up.
Maintenance and Repair Workshops
Alongside the manufacturers, the city has many maintenance workshops repairing dies, fixtures, trailers and plant equipment. They need a machine that can be carried to the job and that runs a range of electrodes. A compact ARC inverter with general-purpose and low-hydrogen electrodes covers most of this work, with a small plasma cutter to remove damaged sections cleanly. For hardened or cracked parts, grind out the defect fully, preheat where the steel calls for it and build up in short passes rather than one heavy bead, so the repair does not crack again in service.
Paragweld Machines for Each Industry
The processes described above map onto the main Paragweld product ranges shown here:
Consumables Matter as Much as the Machine
A well-chosen machine still gives poor results with the wrong filler. For auto components, use clean, copper-coated solid MIG wire suited to your shielding gas. For tractor and earth-moving parts that take shock loads, use low-hydrogen electrodes and keep them dry before use. Paragweld manufactures welding electrodes and welding wire, so both can come from one supplier along with the machine.
Getting the Right Machine to Your Faridabad Unit
Tell us what you weld, the usual plate thickness, your supply (single-phase or three-phase 415V) and how many hours a day the machine will run. The Paragweld team will recommend a model, arrange delivery to Faridabad and remain available by phone and WhatsApp for setup questions and after-sales support. You can also review every model on our products page.
