Laser Cleaning System – 3KW is a high-precision, non-contact cleaning technology that uses a powerful 1070 nm fiber-laser beam to remove rust, paint, oxides, coatings, grease, and surface contaminants without harming the base material. The system operates in continuous or modulated modes and delivers a stable beam through advanced fiber laser sources such as Raycus or MAX. By rapidly heating and vaporizing unwanted layers, the process ensures clean, precise, and controlled surface preparation. With adjustable cleaning widths ranging from 150mm to 300mm—depending on the selected focusing lens—this system provides excellent flexibility for various industrial applications.

Laser cleaning is widely used in automotive, aerospace, mold repair, fabrication workshops, and metal restoration industries due to its speed, accuracy, and eco-friendly operation. It eliminates the need for chemicals or abrasive media, significantly reducing waste and operational hazards. The 3KW system supports high-purity argon or nitrogen as auxiliary gases when required, operates efficiently within 15–35°C environments, and benefits from a long fiber-laser lifespan of up to 100,000 hours. It removes rust, paint, oxides, coatings, grease and other surface contaminants from metal without chemicals or abrasive media. Typical uses include preparing surfaces before welding or painting, cleaning moulds, removing rust from fabricated parts and restoring metal components. Because it is a non-contact process, the base material is not worn away as it is with grinding or blasting.
The cleaning width depends on the focusing lens selected. The F400 lens gives 0 to 150 mm, the F600 lens 0 to 225 mm and the F800 lens 0 to 300 mm. A narrower width concentrates the beam for stubborn rust or thick coatings, while a wider width covers large areas faster. Tell us your typical parts and we will suggest a lens.
The system runs on AC 415V, 50Hz, three-phase supply, and its power consumption is about 15 kW. Make sure the supply point and cabling at your site are rated for this load before installation. Our team can guide you on the electrical requirements during the enquiry stage.
In continuous mode the laser beam stays on steadily, which suits fast removal of heavy rust or paint over large areas. In modulated mode the output is switched on and off in a controlled way, which gives finer control of heat input on thinner or more sensitive parts. Laser output can also be adjusted from 5 to 100 percent to suit the job.
The cleaning process itself does not use chemicals or blasting media. When required, argon or nitrogen of 99.999 percent purity can be used as the auxiliary gas. The system should be operated within 15 to 35 degrees Celsius and 10 to 70 percent humidity, and it has built-in water cooling to keep the 1070 nm fiber laser source at a stable temperature.
Operators and anyone nearby should wear laser safety glasses rated for the 1070 nm wavelength, and the work area should be screened to contain reflections. Use fume extraction, as removed paint and coatings create dust and fumes. The 10 metre fiber cable lets the operator reach large parts while keeping the main unit away from the cleaning area.
