The Paragweld WP 26 range covers spare parts and consumables for WP 26 pattern TIG torches. It includes the parts that grip the tungsten, shape the gas flow and form the torch body, so a worn or damaged part can be changed quickly and the torch kept in good working order between jobs.

The parts list includes ceramic caps in 6, 8 and 10 mm, collet bodies and collets in 1.6, 2.0 and 2.4 mm, a gasket, a torch body, a flexible torch body and a pencil torch body, long and short caps, and a torch cover with switch. The WP 26 range lists ten items: ceramic caps, collet bodies, collets, a gasket, a torch body, a flexible torch body, a pencil torch body, a long cap, a short cap and a torch cover with switch. This covers the everyday consumables as well as the main body parts of a WP 26 torch.
WP 26 collets and collet bodies are listed in 1.6, 2.0 and 2.4 mm, and they must match the diameter of the tungsten you use. For example, a 2.0 mm tungsten needs a 2.0 mm collet and a 2.0 mm collet body. A mismatch can let the tungsten slip or overheat and makes the arc unsteady.
Both lists include ceramic caps in 6, 8 and 10 mm, standard, flexible and pencil torch bodies, long and short caps and a torch cover with switch. The WP 26 collets are listed in 1.6 to 2.4 mm, while the WP 18 list runs up to 4.0 mm. The two are different torch patterns, so order parts for the torch you have.
The gasket sits between parts of the torch head and helps seal the joint, so shielding gas flows to the nozzle instead of leaking out. A worn or missing gasket can let air into the gas stream and cause porosity in the weld, so replace it whenever it looks flattened, cracked or burnt.
Keep spare ceramic caps, collets and collet bodies in the tungsten sizes you use, plus a gasket and a back cap. These are the parts most likely to crack, wear or get lost during work. Having them at hand means a damaged part can be changed in minutes instead of stopping the job.
The torch cover with switch forms the handle area of the torch and carries the switch used to start and stop welding. Replace it if the cover is cracked or the switch works only now and then, as an unreliable switch can cut the arc part-way through a weld.
