Product Description :-

Plasma Cutting is a process that is used to cut steel and other metals of different thickness (or sometimes other materials) using a plasma torch. In this process, an inert gas (in some units, compressed air) is blown at high speed out of a nozzle; at the same time an electrical arc is formed through that gas from the nozzle to the surface being cut, turning some of that gas to plasma. The plasma is sufficiently hot to melt the metal being cut and moves sufficiently fast to blow molten metal away from the cut.

The CUT 160 Pro is the most powerful machine in the Paragweld CUT series. With a 20-160 A output range and a listed cutting thickness of 1-35/1-45 mm, it is built for heavy plate cutting in structural fabrication, heavy engineering and plant maintenance, while the low 20 A starting current still lets it cut thinner sheet.
The CUT 160 Pro runs on a three-phase AC 415 V ±15% supply at 50/60 Hz. Its rated input power is 23 kVA and its rated input current is 32.3 A. Use a dedicated three-phase feeder with a correctly sized breaker and cable, confirm that your connected load can carry it, and earth the machine properly.
The spec table lists 5.0-6.0 kgf/cm² for the CUT 160 Pro, higher than the 4.5-5.5 kgf/cm² of the CUT 105 Pro. Higher currents need more air to constrict the arc and clear molten metal from a deeper cut. Use a compressor with enough capacity and a receiver tank, plus a filter and dryer, so pressure stays steady during long cuts.
Set the current to suit the plate. Use the lower part of the 20-160 A range for thin sheet, where too much current widens the kerf and warps the edge, and the upper range for thick plate. Match the nozzle size to the current you use, and adjust travel speed until the spark stream leaves the underside of the plate cleanly.
The CUT 160 Pro has a no-load voltage of 285 V, so always switch it off before changing consumables or handling the torch head. Wear gloves, a jacket and eye protection with the correct shade, and use fume extraction when cutting coated or stainless steel. Its IP21 housing is meant for indoor use, so keep it away from rain and wet floors.
Both are 160 A class air plasma cutters on a three-phase 415 V supply. The CUT 160 Pro gives 20-160 A, lists 1-35/1-45 mm, is rated at 23 kVA input and weighs 55 kg.
