Product Description :-

The Paragweld WP 18 range covers spare parts and consumables for WP 18 pattern TIG torches, one of the widely used torch patterns. These are the parts that hold the tungsten, direct the shielding gas and make up the torch itself, so having them in stock lets you replace worn items quickly and set the torch up for different tungsten sizes.

The parts list includes ceramic caps in 6, 8 and 10 mm, collet bodies and collets in 1.6, 2.0, 2.4, 3.0 and 4.0 mm, a gasket, the WP 18 torch body, a flexible torch body and a WP 18 pencil torch body, long and short caps, and a torch cover with switch. Its collet sizes run up to 4.0 mm, a wider spread than the WP 26 and WCD 400 parts listed on our site.

Together they cover the wear parts and body options for this torch pattern.
We list WP 18 collets and collet bodies in 1.6, 2.0, 2.4, 3.0 and 4.0 mm. That is a wider range than the WP 26 and WCD 400 parts, which stop at 2.4 mm. Always match the collet and collet body to your tungsten diameter, as a wrong size grips the tungsten poorly and gives an unsteady arc.
Ceramic caps are listed in 6, 8 and 10 mm. A 6 mm cap suits tight joints and lower currents, while 8 and 10 mm caps give wider gas cover for larger welds and bigger tungsten sizes. Replace any cap that is cracked, chipped or badly spattered, since it can let air into the weld.
WP 18 is a widely used torch pattern, and parts made to the same pattern are generally interchangeable between brands. Thread size, length and fit can still vary, so check before you order in bulk. The simplest way is to send our team your torch model or a photo of the old part and we will confirm the match.
The collet grips the tungsten, and the collet body holds the collet in the torch head and passes gas to the nozzle. Both must be the same size as the tungsten. With the WP 18 range running from 1.6 to 4.0 mm, order the pair together whenever you change to a new tungsten size.
The standard WP 18 torch body suits most general work. The flexible torch body has a neck that can be bent to reach awkward joints, and the pencil torch body is slimmer for fine work and tight spaces. All three are in the WP 18 list, so you can choose the body that suits the job.
