Laser Welding Machine – PW1500 is a versatile fiber-laser system designed for high-precision welding, cutting, and cleaning applications across various metals. Using a 1070 ± 5nm laser beam and operating in continuous or modulated mode, the PW1500 provides exceptional control and stability through high-quality MAX/Raycus laser sources. It supports welding of mild steel up to 6 mm, stainless steel up to 5 mm, and aluminum up to 3 mm, ensuring strong, clean joints with minimal heat distortion. With a 10-meter torch length and adjustable laser output from 5–95%, the system enables smooth operation, consistent penetration, and precise handling even on complex components.

Widely used in fabrication workshops, automotive manufacturing, metal repair, and industrial production lines, the PW1500 offers significant advantages over traditional welding methods. It delivers welding speeds of up to 120 mm/s, reduces post-processing requirements, and eliminates issues like excessive spatter or deformation. The system supports high-purity argon or nitrogen as auxiliary gases, features built-in water cooling for stable thermal performance, and offers a long laser source lifespan of up to 100,000 hours. The PW1500 is rated for welding mild steel up to 6 mm, stainless steel up to 5 mm and aluminium up to 3 mm. It suits sheet metal fabrication, enclosures, furniture, stainless steel products and light repair work. If you regularly weld thicker sections, the PW2000 or PW3000 has a higher welding capacity.
The PW1500 runs on AC 220V single-phase supply. This makes it practical for workshops that do not have a three-phase connection. Check that the supply point is rated for the machine before installation, and ask our team if you need guidance.
Yes. Along with welding, the PW1500 has cutting and cleaning functions. It can cut thin metal from 1 to 3 mm, and in cleaning mode it covers a width of 30 mm, which is useful for removing oxide or light rust before and after welding. This lets one machine handle small trimming and surface preparation jobs as well.
The PW1500 uses argon or nitrogen as the auxiliary gas, with a purity of 99.99 percent. The gas shields the weld pool from air, which helps prevent oxidation and porosity. Argon is widely used for general work, and the right choice depends on the material and the finish you need. Our team can advise for your application.
Both run on 220V single-phase supply, both cut 1 to 3 mm and both clean a 30 mm width. The difference is welding capacity. The PW1500 welds mild steel up to 6 mm, stainless steel up to 5 mm and aluminium up to 3 mm, while the PW2000 goes up to 8 mm, 6 mm and 4 mm. Choose based on the thickest joints you weld regularly.
The machine has built-in water cooling, so check the coolant level and keep the unit in a clean, ventilated place. Keep the protective lens in the welding head clean and replace it when damaged. Operators should wear laser safety glasses rated for the 1070 nm wavelength, and the work area should be screened. The laser source is rated for up to 1,00,000 hours.
