Product Description :-

Plasma Cutting is a process that is used to cut steel and other metals of different thickness (or sometimes other materials) using a plasma torch. In this process, an inert gas (in some units, compressed air) is blown at high speed out of a nozzle; at the same time an electrical arc is formed through that gas from the nozzle to the surface being cut, turning some of that gas to plasma. The plasma is sufficiently hot to melt the metal being cut and moves sufficiently fast to blow molten metal away from the cut.

The CUT 60 is a three-phase air plasma cutter with a 20-60 A output range. It suits light and medium fabrication work such as sheet metal, panels, frames, gates and general workshop cutting, as well as maintenance jobs. Like other air plasma cutters, it cuts mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other conductive metals.
The CUT 60 runs on a three-phase AC 415 V ±15% supply at 50/60 Hz. Its rated input power is 7.8 kVA and its rated input current is only 12 A, so it is easy to connect in most industrial sheds. Use a correctly rated breaker and cable, and make sure the machine is properly earthed before use.
The CUT 60 uses HF pilot arc starting. The pilot arc forms inside the torch before cutting begins, so the arc can transfer to the job without the torch tip touching it. This gives reliable starts on painted, rusty or uneven surfaces and on expanded metal, and it reduces wear on the nozzle compared with touch starting.
The CUT 60 has a 60% duty cycle, so at rated output it can cut for about 6 minutes in every 10 before it needs to cool. Its efficiency is 85% with a power factor of 0.93 and a no-load loss of 60 W, which means little power is wasted when it is switched on but idle between cuts.
Use clean, dry compressed air and drain the compressor and filter daily. Set the current to suit the plate, keep a steady torch height and speed, and replace the electrode and nozzle together once the cut begins to bevel or dross builds up. Keep the cooling vents of the machine clear of dust and grinding particles.
The CUT 60 gives 20-60 A from a 7.8 kVA input, weighs 25 kg and measures 485 x 234 x 425 mm. The CUT 105 Pro is rated up to 105 A, needs 16.2 kVA, weighs 35 kg and lists a cutting thickness of 1-20/1-30 mm. Choose the CUT 105 Pro if you regularly cut thicker plate.
