LGK Air Plasma Cutter Series 100

LGK Air Plasma Cutter Series 100 Manufacturer

Parag Weld Cut 40

Product Description :-

The LGK Air Plasma Cutter Series 100 is a three-phase air plasma cutting machine for medium and heavy fabrication. It cuts mild steel, stainless steel and other conductive metals, and suits structural fabrication, machine building, tank and vessel work and CNC profile cutting, where plate is cut regularly through a working day.

It runs on AC 415 V at 50/60 Hz with a rated input current of 23 A, and gives an output current of 30-100 A at a rated output voltage of 120 V. The duty cycle is 80% at 40°C, with 90% efficiency and a power factor of 0.86. Arc starting is HF pilot arc and air pressure is 4.5-5.5 kgf/cm². The table lists a cutting thickness of 1-20/1-30 mm and 12 mm dross-free on CNC. It weighs 35 kg and measures 636 x 290 x 535 mm.

frequently asked questions (FAQ)

The LGK 100 is a three-phase air plasma cutter for medium and heavy fabrication. Its 30-100 A output and listed cutting thickness of 1-20/1-30 mm make it suitable for cutting mild steel, stainless steel and other conductive metals in structural fabrication, machine building, tank and vessel work, and maintenance jobs where plate thicker than light sheet is cut regularly.
The LGK 100 needs a three-phase AC 415 V supply at 50/60 Hz. The spec table lists a rated input power of 15.8 kVA and a rated input current of 23 A, with 90% efficiency and a power factor of 0.86. Plan a dedicated three-phase point with the right breaker and cable size, and earth the machine properly before first use.
The LGK 100 uses HF pilot arc starting. A pilot arc forms between the electrode and the nozzle before the torch reaches the job, so the cutting arc transfers to the metal without the tip being dragged on the surface. This gives more consistent starts, helps when cutting painted or rusty plate, and reduces wear on the nozzle.
The LGK 100 has an 80% duty cycle at 40°C. At its rated output in a 40°C ambient, it can cut for about 8 minutes in every 10 and then needs roughly 2 minutes to cool. At lower current it can run for longer. This suits longer cutting runs than the LGK 63, which is rated at 60%.
The spec table lists an air pressure of 4.5-5.5 kgf/cm² for the LGK 100. The compressor should hold this pressure while the torch is running, not only at start-up. Fit a filter regulator and drain moisture from the tank and lines daily. Dry, oil-free air keeps the arc stable and extends the life of the electrode and nozzle.
Both share the same 636 x 290 x 535 mm body and an 80% duty cycle. The LGK 100 covers 30-100 A with a listed thickness of 1-20/1-30 mm and 12 mm dross-free on CNC. The LGK 120 goes up to 120 A, lists 1-30/1-40 mm and 16 mm dross-free, and weighs 38 kg against 35 kg. Pick the LGK 120 if you regularly cut plate above 20 mm.
