Product Description :-

The 36 KD MIG welding accessories are replacement parts for a 36 KD pattern MIG torch. The 36 KD sits above the 24 KD in the Paragweld accessories range and is used on MIG/MAG welding machines in fabrication shops, maintenance departments and production lines, where the front end of the torch wears with daily use and needs regular replacement.

The parts listed are a 36 KD conical nozzle, contact tips in 0.8 mm and 1.2 mm (in copper and copper-chromium-zirconium), a tip holder, a gas diffuser and a swan neck in 36 KD size, a torch handle with switch, a 36 KD end connector and a 3.5 metre MIG liner. Together they cover the torch from the nozzle to the connector at the machine end.

The nozzle, tip holder, gas diffuser, swan neck and end connector are all sized for the 36 KD torch.
The 36 KD contact tips are listed for 0.8 mm and 1.2 mm wire. The 1.2 mm size is the common choice for general fabrication on machines such as the Paragweld MIG 400 Pro and MIG 400I, which run 0.8 to 1.2 mm wire. Always match the tip bore to the wire on the spool, and choose the torch pattern by the current you actually weld at.
The tip holder connects the contact tip to the swan neck and carries welding current to the tip. The gas diffuser spreads the shielding gas evenly inside the nozzle so it flows smoothly around the arc. If the diffuser holes are blocked with spatter, gas coverage suffers and the weld may show porosity, so clean or replace the diffuser when needed.
Copper (E-Cu) tips are the economical, everyday option. Copper-chromium-zirconium (E-Cu-Cr-Zr) tips hold their shape better at high temperature, so they suit longer arc-on times and higher currents and usually need changing less often. Cu-Cr-Zr tips are the better choice for production welding, while plain copper tips are fine for occasional or short jobs.
Replace the swan neck if it is bent or cracked, if its insulation is damaged, or if it gets unusually hot during welding, which can point to a poor internal connection. Replace the torch handle if the switch works only now and then or the housing is broken. Damaged insulation is a safety risk and should be replaced, not taped over.
All three are Paragweld MIG torch spare ranges. The 24 KD is the smallest pattern and the 36 KD sits above it. The 400 A range is for heavier work and adds a tapered conical nozzle, an insulator, 1.6 mm contact tips and a 5.5 metre liner option. Parts are made for a specific torch pattern, so order spares that match the torch you use.
