The Premium MZ 1000 is a three-phase power source for submerged arc welding (SAW), with an output range of 100-1000 A. SAW is used for long, continuous seams on thick steel, such as beams, tanks, pressure vessels, pipes and heavy fabrication, where high deposition and consistent weld quality matter.

The Premium MZ 1000 runs on a three-phase 415 V AC supply (plus or minus 15%) at 50/60 Hz. It is rated at 57 kVA input power with a rated input current of 80 A, so it needs a dedicated supply with a correctly rated breaker, input cable and earth. Have an electrician confirm your available load first.
The Premium MZ 1000 delivers 100-1000 A and is listed for 3.15 mm to 6.3 mm wire (electrode) diameter, with an open circuit voltage of 84 V. Smaller wire at lower current suits thinner plate, while larger wire at higher current gives deeper penetration and faster filling on thick joints.
IP21S means the housing keeps out fingers and solid objects larger than 12.5 mm and is protected against vertically dripping water. The S shows that the water test is done with the machine standing still, not running. In practice, install the Premium MZ 1000 indoors or under a shelter and keep it dry.
